Zelamar & Reynaldo, Pregnancy Shoot Panama, April 2012

Zelmar and Reynaldo are expecting a baby in June. When Zelmar contacted me about the shoot we discussed what she was wanting to get from her pictures. She was very clear that she wanted something natural and if possible out of doors. We decided on Park Omar in Panama City for our shoot. Zelamar and Reynaldo are a great couple with an amazing sense of humour, and they brought a good energy to the day. They also had some very helpful family and friends on hand to help holding outfits and things for retouching and keeping the couple looking cool and composed, and not like we were shooting in 35 degree heat!! Although the day was very hot we still managed to have a good time. 

April and May as a photographer in Panama City

The past tow months have been fairly busy for me. I have been photographing everything from world champion boxers to newborn babies. It has been varied and a lot of fun. I like to wait until the clients have received their final packages and check that they are happy for the images to be used. So there can be a delay before I can show what I have been up to. I hope to be able to post some of the images on here shortly. Watch this space!

Sophie & Lola

This was my second photo shoot with Lola and my first with Sophie. Lola had been baptized and this shoot was to get a few shots of her in her gown, and to get a few pictures of the girls in their beautiful Easter dresses which were made by their grand mother. We managed to capture some beautiful images with some gentle coaxing of Sophie, who is a little camera shy. 

Baptism Photos of Anna Gabriela

I did a baptism shoot for Anna Gabriela a few weeks ago and she was a delight to photograph. At six months old she was very interested in playing with her feet, and we captured some of those moments to remember. 

Nina Images

Here are the images I shot just a couple of weeks ago for Nina the new Panamanian pop artist . Some of the images will shortly be seen in Ocean Drive Magazine. Her web page has now launched and you can visit the site to see my images and check out her music.

Winner Feria del Bebe Free Photo Shoot Competition

For those of you that came to the fair you will know I was running a competition to win a free baby shoot. Anyone who booked a photo shoot with me was entered in the competition.

A Musical Moment with Nina

Last week I was asked to photograph a new music artist from Panama. You may not have heard of Nina yet but she is hoping to make her way into the music charts in the near future. Her album is due for release at the beginning of February, and I have been photographing her for her new web site which should be available in the next week or two. I can't publish any of the images now, but needless to say they look great and we had so much fun collaborating on them.

Feria del Bebe, Atlapa Panama

What a busy weekend, I am exhausted! I have just finished with the baby fair at Atlapa convention center, Panama City, Panama. It was so great to be able to meet so many wonderful families, and mothers to be. Thank you all for your words of praise for my images. It is encouraging to know that I am on the right track. Children are so much fun to photograph and I try very hard to capture the spirit of each child in my images. 

I am looking forward to all my pregnancy shoots too. I spent so long working as a midwife that it will be fantastic to be able to photograph some baby bumps now! Pregnancy is an amazing thing, and it is definitely something to capture and remember.

I was also thrilled to meet people from so many other businesses in Panama that cater to children and Families. I made some great connections and I am excited about the potential collaborations I have been discussing.
